My Story
Reason For Being in Rescue: Breeder Release.
Special Needs: Jesse is neutered, up to date on vaccines for his age and heartworm negative.
What kind of home would be best for me: Jesse is ready for all of life’s adventures and is looking for a family who will help guide him through puppyhood with love, patience, and consistency. Like most puppies his age, Jesse will need all basic training, including house training, leash skills, manners, and general structure. We are currently working on finalizing his crate training, and he’s making great progress. Jesse thrives with other dogs and must have regular canine social time - whether that’s another dog in the home, playgroups, dog parks, doggy daycare, or time with friends’ or family members’ dogs. We believe Jesse could do well in a home with respectful children who understand how to interact with a young, energetic dog. If you’re ready to invest time in training, socialization, and plenty of play, Jesse will reward you with endless affection, laughter, and loyal companionship.
What is my personality like: Jesse is a young black Standard Poodle puppy who is as sweet as he is playful. He can be a little timid when first meeting new dogs, but he warms up quickly and becomes very playful. Because of his energy level and size, Jesse will do best with canine playmates who are similar in size. This wonderful boy is ready to grow, learn, and explore the world with his future family!
How do I act when I first meet new people: Jesse meets new people with a shy, sweet tail wag, and once he feels comfortable, he’s all over you like a puppy should be.
Tips and Tidbits: 9/7/25 is Jesse's exact birthdate.
House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Potential Adopters
Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.
Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
