Here's Your Quick Peek
Nutmeg is a five-year-old shih tzu mix that came from a hoarding case. While she has not lived in a home before she has a lot to learn as far as what is means to live with her perfect family. She is sweet but can be timid.
Must have: A calm patient family with rescue dog experience.
Exercise: Nutmeg is pretty calm and would enjoy a walk at least once a day.
Best with: Other dogs, gentle approaches and treats!
Not ideal for: We think Nutmeg could mold into many different calm home environments.
Energy level: Low
Nutmeg is looking for a family that will show her what is means to be a well-loved pet and give her the time to soak up all of the affection you can offer. She loves cuddles and attention from people she trusts.
Good with dogs: YES!
Good with kids: We think with older respectful kids Nutmeg would enjoy their company.
Cats: Yes.
Fun fact: Nutmeg was the name we gave her when she arrived to rescue!
