So every once in a while, a dog's photo comes up . We know our shelter partners are being forced to make very hard decisions and we can't help all. But we can help one - and it makes a difference to that one. Paprika is one of those dogs. Paprika is a sweet, gentle girl who came to CPR from Pickens County Animal Shelter after being found as a stray. She loves running around outside with her dog friends and enjoys exploring the yard.
She doesn't invite you in right away but once she feels safe, she opens up beautifully. Paprika LOVES food, which makes training fun and easy. She’s smart, eager to learn, and already picking up crate training quickly.
Must have: patient adopter, gentle environment, fenced yard preferred
Exercise: moderate — daily walks, playtime, and outdoor activity
Best with: adults or families with older children; calm, kind homes
Not ideal for: chaotic or highenergy households
Energy level: medium — playful, affectionate, gentle
