Biography

Why am I with a rescue group?

Lola Lee came to us after a group of Good Samaritans stepped in to care for the dogs of a late breeder. They so realized that 40+ little toy poodles is a lot of work and more than they could handle. They reached out to Carolina Poodle Rescue and surrendered the dogs.

Lola is a lowenergy, mellow dog who is very shy and nervous when meeting new people, especially men and women, and needs time to build trust. She is quiet, sensitive, and does best in a calm home with another confident dog to help her feel secure. Lola has not bit anyone at the farm but shows the potential too if not handle with care and slow compassion.

Lola gets along well with small dogs and her compatibility with cats is unknown. She is still working on leash manners, crate training, and house training, so she will need a patient adopter who can continue her training. Despite her timid nature, Lola is an easygoing dog who enjoys toys and other dogs. With time, patience, and a peaceful environment, she has all the potential to become a loyal, loving companion.

Sponsorship

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! The caregivers at Carolina Poodle Rescue will do the rest. Just think, without ever having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: cprsosdogs@carolinapoodlerescue.org

I LOVE MY Virtual Adopters!
