Here's Your Quick Peek
Meet Otis - a resilient, confident doodle looking for a calm home where he can finally feel safe.
Rescued on 1/2/26 after enduring extreme neglect, Otis was chained up outside his entire life. He arrived at the shelter with an embedded collar that required surgery. Now healed, Otis is ready for a fresh start.
Must have: A secure fenced yard, an adopter that understands his past was one of neglect and sometimes he needs space to feel grounded and understand change.
Exercise: Otis needs a space to run and play and stretch his long legs! He loves to be outside! Hiking is Otis' go to!
Best with: Structure - Otis needs a patient adopter to give him freedom to be himself, and to show him real love.
Not ideal for: Young children, chaotic constantly changing homes.
Energy level: Not looking for high energy environments
In the right environment, with the right person, Otis has the potential to be a loyal, steady companion who thrives on respect, routine, and understanding.
Good with dogs: Yes, big and small. Otis prefers calm dogs.
Good with kids: We would not recommend Otis to a home with children. We are unsure of his past with kiddos.
Cats: Unknown, has not been cat tested
Fun fact: Otis will do ANYTHING for a treat!
